Second Cover Proposal

Here I present my second cover proposal for my book. I thought I had to remove the fractal image, because it never really worked for the way the cover was presented. But I changed its role in the cover. Also changed the position of the three philosophers. Also added a vertical gradient from red to yellow.

I remember that a color like a blueish-green, or something similar was suggested, but there was a problem, just as there was a problem with the color I chose before. The pictures of the philosophers are gray, they are "cold" colors. To make them be noticed by the public, I need a contrast with "warm colors" (such as red, yellow, etc.). After talking to Olga, and following some suggestions about the meaning of the fractal image, this is what I created. I hope you like it. Remember to leave some feedback:

Sample of My Book Available

Ok, I'm just writing everyone to tell you that a sample of my book is available for download in the book's website. If you want to download them you can do so using these links:

For Adobe's PDF format click here.

For DjVu format click here.

To see the DjVu (prounounced "déjà vu") file, you will need the following programs depending on your operative system:

Windows Users - WinDjView
Mac OS Users - MacDjView
GNU/Linux Users - DjvuLibre or Evince

For those who are Windows users, all you have to do is to double-click or activate the executable file, and the viewer will instantly open with no need to install the software. In there you can go to "File", go to wherever you downloaded the ebook, open it, and enjoy. GNU/Linux users, it will use the command "djview" to execute DjvuLibre. Also if you want, the GNOME desktop has Evince as document viewer by default, and it does support DjVu format. Remember that all of these programs are free software, and are available under the GNU General Public License.

Cover of My Next Book (Give Me Your Opinion)

Hi, I just wanted to tell you that thanks to my friend Olga Rivera who created drawings of Gottlob Frege, Edmund Husserl and Karl Popper, I was able to finish what in my mind would be the cover of the next book I'm going to publish Philosophies of the Ideal Realm: The Conception of Ideality in Frege, Husserl and Popper. Here's the thumbnail (click it if you want to see a larger version).

Cover of Next Book

Please, if you want give me your opinions about it. Be honest, please, if you genuinely love it, say so. If you completely want to throw up because of it, say so too.

I also wanted to say that the Copyright certificate of registration of the book arrived from the Library of Congress. So, these are two steps towards eventual publishing :D
